Apex residents interested in a holiday stage role have two audition evenings to consider. The Halle Cultural Arts Center lists auditions for The Toys Take Over Christmas and Christmas Carol Quest on October 20 or October 21, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Participants should choose one evening.

The announced age range is ten through adult. The Halle is at 237 North Salem Street, and the calendar lists auditions as free. Its auditions page links the information packet, rehearsal schedule and form; read those documents before arriving rather than assuming a particular song, monologue or preparation format.

Callbacks are listed for October 22 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The published rehearsal window runs from October 26 through December 10, with weekday evenings and specified Saturday sessions. Review the detailed schedule and ask staff about attendance expectations before committing, especially if school, work or travel already fills the calendar.

For someone auditioning for the first time, preparation can be practical rather than elaborate: understand the instructions, know your availability and leave enough time to arrive calmly. Questions can go to The Halle at 919-249-1120. A community production begins with that willingness to prepare and work with other people long before opening night.
